After a 2022 that featured a tremendous amount of job movement and upward mobility, we’re off to a promising start in 2023 with the appointment of Triple A vet Kendall Stewart to the role of Assistant Program Director at KCMP|The Current/Minneapolis-St. Paul.
Stewart started at WERS and had stints at 92.5/The River and WUMB, all in Boston, before heading to WCNR/The Corner in Charlottesville in 2015.
In her new role she will work within the programming team, supporting on-air hosts, and developing day-to-day programming elements.
Said Stewart, “I’ve admired The Current ever since I started in Triple A and often looked to them for inspiration during my time in Charlottesville. The opportunity to join the team is a real honor and I can’t wait to hit the ground running! Let’s go!”
Her first day at the NON-COMM Triple A powerhouse will be February 6.
