Record Store Day’s younger sibling, the Black Friday edition, is upon us offering another nice slate of collectibles.
Among the most creative titles is the debut from De La Soul, but it comes in the form of a box set of 7-inch singles. Ultimately, that turns into 24 different tracks.
U2 has contributed to Record Store Day since the beginning. For Black Friday, the band celebrates a remastered 40th Anniversary edition of Under a Blood Red Sky pressed on red vinyl.
If you’re looking for something specific to the season, there’s Happy Holiday!, by My Morning Jacket. For the first time on vinyl, the set includes the five tracks originally recorded in 2013 for the digital release, and three new songs recorded this year. Additional cool factor comes in the form of clear vinyl with white snow splatters.
Record Store Day titles are generally limited run, so grab them while they last.
