Triple A Radio icon Scott Arbough will retire after 38 years at KBCO…

For nearly 40 years, Scott Arbough has been part of KBCO, having segued from KTCL/Fort Collins in 1985.
After 23 years as Program Director, he will retire.
In a statement, Arbough said, “It has been an amazing journey and the thrill of a lifetime to be a part of KBCO for 38 years. I have been inspired by the extremely talented radio professionals who have dedicated their careers to creating this iconic radio station. I wish to thank each of them for their commitment to our community and for believing in our mission to create this unique and successful radio station. I begin the next phase of my life knowing that the team at KBCO will carry on for many years to come.”
In other Triple A news, Jason Crane has been named Program Director of WCNR/The Corner in Charlottesville. Crane programmed WFEQ/State College as a Triple A station prior to a format flip in 2019.
In a corresponding move, Current WCNR MD Julie Koehrer has been elevated to Assistant Program Director.
Another APD announcement comes from WTMD/Baltimore, where Tyler LaPorte gets the upgrade.
