John Schoenberger, Triple A Editor for ALL ACCESS and longtime friend of the format, is retiring at the end of the year.

Schoenberger has logged nearly 30 years covering radio and Triple A, the last eleven with ALL ACCESS. Prior, John wrote for Radio and Records, where he also rescued and hosted the annual Boulder Triple A conference, and before that, The Album Network.

Schoenberger’s amazing 50-year career started on the label side, reaching national promotion positions with ABC Records, Arista, MCA, and Relativity.

He commented, “Now is the time to take a step back and let someone else bring a fresh perspective and renewed energy to the format and the people that I love. After 22 years of working for some great record labels and then 28 years as a champion for Triple A, I still plan to stay involved with the Triple A community in a very limited capacity.”

His retirement creates an exciting opportunity for a talented writer who knows the music industry and has a passion for the Triple A format.

Interested parties can submit a resume and cover letter to John himself: jschoenberger@allaccess.com.
