WINNING WITH INCLUSIVE PROGRAMMING – From small market community radio stations, all the way up to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, inclusivity has been driving successful models for audience and brand growth. This panel will explore how organizations and stations create content that celebrates diversity and digs deep into how they use events and special features to showcase a diverse range of voices and perspectives. Our panelists will share their strategies for creating new content that and how they leverage social media and other digital platforms to amplify these voices.
Thursday, May 4, 1:15 PM – 2:30 PM ET
THE EVOLVING ROLE OF ON-AIR HOSTS – DJs have traditionally been focused on audiences when they open their microphones. With the importance of social media in connecting with our audiences, often there are two shows going on at once – both on-air and on-line – in real time. This session will hear DJs talk about the balance of communication with audiences in real time over multiple platforms.
