Former Indianapolis radio programmer Lenny Diana is returning to the city to take the helm at Triple A WTTS. Diana will be the Program Director and Music Director for the heritage station starting mid-October.

Diana comes from Saga Communications’ WAQY and WLZX/Springfield, Massachusetts where he spent eight years as Operations Manager. In his 25 years in broadcasting, Diana has programmed in Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Long Island. He also logged time in Indy, programming the former WRZX (now WOLT).

Diana will also program Sarkes Tarzian’s WGBJ/Fort Wayne.

Diana commented, “I’m thrilled to be joining WTTS, a station that for years I’ve admired from afar. To be able to come back to Indianapolis and work with (President/General Manager) Brad Holtz and the impressive team that is assembled here is very exciting. I look forward to the impact we’ll be making together in the Circle City for years to come.”

Added Holtz, “During his 8 years in Indianapolis, I got to know Lenny as a programming competitor. I always respected his strategic style and keen ear for quality radio. Lenny loves the market and all that WTTS stands for. He will be an excellent programming leader to carry forth our proud tradition of local, independent radio.”

The programming slot became available when former WTTS PD Laura Duncan moved to WXRT/Chicago.
