PRPD 2021 Releases Complete Schedule

Open to all, the Public Radio conference looks to the future…

The Public Radio Program Directors Association (PRPD) has released the full schedule for the 2021 annual conference.

Again this year, the event will be virtual, with 19 sessions spanning three days – September 13, 14, and 15.

With a theme of “REdefining Public Media,” sessions will focus not only on changing audience makeup and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, but also what public media is, and can be, moving forward.

For example, a key session called Defining Your Organizational Identity will take a look at KEXP’s recent deep dive into exactly what role they play in the community. Hint: it’s not a radio station.

PRPD members can get group rates as low as $125 per person. Non-members are invited to attend at a rate of $250 per person.
