Stations may be pumping the brakes on unnecessary spending, but two community-minded public Triple A stations are adding staff.
WXPN/Philadelphia seeks a Digital Content Manager to oversee the creation and curation of compelling digital content — including articles, videos, graphics, and other multimedia formats. In addition to these production chops, a successful candidate will need to have strong editorial and writing skills, plus knowledge of SEO tactics.
Note that this is not an entry level position: Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in digital content management, preferably in a media, entertainment, or broadcasting industry. Further, at least 3 years of demonstrated successful staff supervision experience is required.

Over on the lovely island of Martha’s Vineyard, WMVY is looking for a Community Outreach Producer. Essentially a reporter position, this potentially entry level gig creates segments for a The Vineyard Current, a weekly news magazine. Experience using Enco/DAD, Goldwave, Protools, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs helpful, and it wouldn’t hurt if you could fill in on the air occasionally. This is a full-time position.
