THE EVOLVING ROLE OF ON-AIR HOSTS*
(1:15pm-2:30pm) DJs have traditionally been focused on audiences when they open their microphones. With the importance of social media in connecting with our audiences, often there are two shows going on at once – both on-air and on-line – in real time. This session will hear DJs talk about how to balance communication with audiences in real time over multiple platforms.

NON-COMMversation* (2:45pm-4pm) Hosted by WXPN host Dan Reed, this year’s NON-COMMversation will feature Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker from indie rock pioneers Sleater-Kinney.
